Red face Amp protection staying on.. pro help please!

Hey guys i have a amp that i traded a cheap amp for cause it was useless.. anyway the amp i got back i knew was a little messed up and here's what i got..

When powering up the amp comes on for a second then immediately goes into power protect mode.. its a concept hp-1500
I'm looking to repair it cause i dont want to spend a load of money on another quality amp.. so i really want to know what could be wrong or what to do for repair.. ask me questions.. tell me what to do.. whatever.. Thanks!

make sure the ground is still in, happened to my buddies, soon as ground was plugged in, it went out of power protect mode. also, check the fuse, it could have shorted out.

I was questioning the post before my last one, seemed a bit suspect. You may be right though, probably time to send it in.
