question on removing paint?

I was painting the body of a corvette im working on, and when I put on the clear coat i didnt realize the humidity in the air and it made the clear turn all hazey in spots.
Ive been soaking it in Purple Power that I got at Walmart and the paint is prettty much all gone.
My question is, do I have to remove all the paint until the entire body is white agian? There are just a few spots where the paint is paper thin and is smooth, but wont come off.

Re: question on removing paint?

I would just sand the spots down with 1000 grit.

Re: question on removing paint?

I was wondering this too, would aircraft stripper damage the plastic body because I know it works fine with die-cast body.

Aircraft stripper will destroy anything plastic.

Re: question on removing paint?

Sand it with a very fine grit sandpaper or soak it in isopropyl alcohol.
