New Car!...Again!

Back in the end of May I told you guys how an SUV had totaled my bullitt. In the time since then and now I had a chrysler sebring rental, and I have been driving family vehicles after that was returned. No longer. For now I am soon to be in the proud possession of.....

1993 Mazda RX-7! Got it for 5800 and it needs a new engine, which is perfect for what I plan to do with it. Everything is stock except for Koni adjustable shocks. The car is in Texas right now, but I will be getting it shipped to here in NC this week, which I can thank the high gas prices for a price of 520 to do it. Then my ls1 swap can begin. Definitely excited about this one

Whoa! Congrats!

The LS1 project sounds like she'd make for a beautiful combo. Car looks clean all around. Nice pick up!

Edit, just looked again, the one I was looking at had a boost gauge on the steering column.

Re: New Car!...Again!

Before I bought my LS1 Z28, I was looking at FD Rx-7s. But I didn't want to bother with them cause I figured I'd get eaten up by repair costs... and then the Z28 ate me up in repair costs.

Go figure.

One of the one's I was looking at had a boost gauge on the steering column, where did you see it, might have been the same one.

Well I am hoping I don't get the perfect storm of repairs and have to deal with both of those haha.

Yeah, but the last one he sold (he had it posted on the local Mazda club board) didn't have an interior...

GForce...the one I was looking at was in Ft. Worth. Where did you get this one?
