1997 Blazer Soft Brakes
Our 1997 Blazer has typically had soft brakes. They are now to the floor and truck is not stopping. My husband states they brake pads are fine. Can you help us figure out what he should look at next in repairing this issue? Thank you.

Re: 1997 Blazer Soft Brakes
Welcome to AF.
Is the master full of fluid? Any brake fluid leakage front or rear calipers or cylinders or brake line? Any recent repair work on brakes? Is the abs light on? Or red brake light. Will the pedal pump up any? Does it go to floor on first push? Always check rear brake adjustment and for fluid leakage. Jack it up and put it on stands and check for rear brake and front brake holding. Try emg brake and see if it is coming on or helps bring pedal up. Give all info you can. MT
