99' blazer 4x4 question

I have been trying to fix a problem with my 99' 4x4 blazer. It's the typical 2hi light works, 4hi light just blinks, 4lo does the same thing but nothing locks in. Searching for the problem I found the solenoid with vacumme lines right at the firewall. Found the line that comes from the engine to the solenoid. Problem is, there is no line comming from it. I cannot find it anywhere... Can someone tell me where this thing goes on the front diff. There is a piece of line still attached to it like it broke or something...

Thanks for any advice.

What transfer case and engine?

Vacuum line or cable broke off?
Electrical solenoid or the vacuum pancake under battery tray.
