97 SL2 Manual Tranny Fluid
I have a 97 SL2 with a 5 speed. Saturn says to use Dexron 3. Can i use GM Syncromesh? Like Pennzoils Syncromesh. I put that stuff in my 98 Ford ZX2 and it loved it. Smoother shifting at all temperatures. And also where is the drain plug on these trannys?

Re: 97 SL2 Manual Tranny Fluid
No. S-series tranny requires Automatic Tranny Fluid. Many have liked Mobil 1 ATF Synthetic.
Drain is one 15mm bolt on the bottom of the tranny. 2.5q is needed
