I believe they are diecast cars from maisto. I got one from Wally World the other day. The RSX. The body kit looks bad but stock version looks good!

Hmmm, they also have a plastic Mitsu Eclipse listed, but no word of it on the R-M.com site...

They're listed as Revell-Monogram, 1/25 (D'oh!), plastic kits...

They are future release 1/25 plastic kits, knowing Revell, look for them in 2004.

They were announced recently at the New York toy fair. The RSX and WRX are new Revell tools in 1/25th scale, but they will be using diecast bodies. They should be very similar to the Fast and the Furious Eclipse and Civic that Revell have done in diecast, with detail nearly identical to the ITR. They will be full detail with engines.

They are NOT reboxed Maisto models.

Tower Hobbies is clueless. The Revell Eclipse is a diecast body-everything else is plastic, similar to an ITR model. Tower's prices are a whole lot more expensive than you can get from the Model Roundup (Tower's "low low price"-$17.99 for the Eclipse, Model Roundup-$14.25 for the same model): http://www.modelroundup.com/rmx20001.html

Jack from the Model Roundup is a friend of mine, he lives nearby. He's cool, loves model cars, it's how he makes his living. He's got great customer service and great prices. Give him a shot-rather than a big, overpriced, nameless/faceless company like Tower.

If they come with engines, that would be awesome! Anyways, I hope they have better head lights than FUJIMI!!!! In fact, it has to be better, because the FUJIMI one can't get any worst!
