Introduction

Hi all, wanted to introduce myself...first I am getting a 2000 GTP soon. It belonged to my brother who takes nice care of his cars, however, he got a little disgruntled with a couple of the common failure modes I've read about here.

(hub brg, fuel pump, trans implosion)

However, it is getting up in mileage ~130k and he's interested in something newer without wanting to risk the increasing probability of repairs. He's already got my payment in full, I just have to go and pick it up. Of course I'm attracted to the combination of fuel economy and zero recurring car payment.

I have some previous background with the 3800, I once worked in Flint, Michigan about a mile from Factory 36 on some other "development work".

Have worked on and done many repairs to Chevrolet trucks and utility vehicles over the years, I have a machining and industrial maintenance background.

Happy to be here!
