My 2000 Venture is dead

Any idea's??? I shut off the van this morning it made a strange buzz noise, I looked at the radio it said "Check CD". I tried to eject the CD and it wouldnt eject, attempted to turn key on and nothing happened, no power what so ever, the gauges jumped up and down a little, made a clicking buzzing noise in the dash, no dome lights, no nothing. I checked the battery because Im aware of the battery problems. Battery is fine. It is flat out dead. No headlights no power. Thanks.

Check your cables... how do you know the battery is good ? The problem may be alternator related

That would be the first thing I would look at also. Make sure the connections at the battery are clean and free of corrosion, and inspect the outer covering of the cables as well. Look for signs that corrosion may have infiltrated under the covering , and possibly any breaks or areas of the cable covering that show signs of damage.
