2000 focus,sohc,rough idle==

a friend,s car. very rough idle. she describes it as feeling like it ain,t getting enough gas. if that,s the same engine as my 99 escort i can testify. anyone else having similiar stuff happening? i searched and found some folks cured rough idle by replacing the right motor mount(under coolant resivoir).
