insufficiant cold air from vents, 2000 montana

weird thing happening. i am not very mechanical but here is my problem. when i have the ac on and set to the dash vents(or face diagram)cold air only comes from the right side of the 3 middle vents all others are warm, and when i use the winshield defrost it comes out of there only when the dial is turned to hot and when i turn it to cold you can here it blow but does not come out the windshield defrost vent. anyone else have these or heard of these situations.help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with our 97 Montana, it turned out to be a vacuum
line leak. There is a vacuum line (small dia. hard plastic )that runs over the left side of the motor right overtop of the fanbelt, it had dropped down onto the belt and wore a hole in the bottom side, out of sight.
I used a pc of rubber hose to splice between the 2 ends after cutting out
the hole and it works great now.
