2001 Blazer problem. Help, Please!!
I have a 2001 blazer 4.3L with automatic transmission that the exhaust check valve went out on. It burnt some wiring and blew some fuses. I repaired all that but have a problem with it running right.
It starts fine and idles smooth. It will run perfect till it gets to between 30 and 40 when it is time to shift. The rpms will drop to idle and will stay there for about 40 to 50 seconds. Then the rpms will increase and it will shift fine. After that it will run fine till you drop below 30 and it will do the same thing, except that after it shifts it will do some jerking but when you take your foot off the gas and put it back on it seems fine, till you slow down again. It never shuts off. I have a pocket scan tool and the only code it keeps bringing up is for the maf or vaf circuit problem. Will this senser cause the problems I am having? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ken |
