Auto model contest in Frankfurt ??

hi,
i am considering going to frakfurters auto model austellung 3rd time, but no final decision. ive heard its on the first november weekend this time. they have no new proposition on their web (its a shame i think). is it right? because if i will decide i have to book flight and acommodation soon to have the best price. anyone been there already? is it good exhibition/contest? atmosphere? size? model count? a lot of american subject? a lot of sellers? good bargains? is somewhere good photoreport?

Hi,

the model show in FFM was the first show I ever attended (in 2006). I must say it was a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Yes, many US-related models and quite a good selection of others, too.

You'll not regret it if you decide to come! Just make sure you book your hotel way in advance as Frankfurt is a very busy place and has lots of conferences year-round. The show is actually in (Frankfurt) Bergen-Enkheim. It's best if you look for a hotel in this town.

Do you mean "what does it cost"?

It's very cheap

If you want to display your models it's EUR 2 (two) per table 125 x 62,5 cm
This includes the entry fee for both days. It is preferred that you stay for SAT and SUN, and I can only recommend it, because you meet very interesting people there!

Most of the exhibitors are German, but there's always a group of guys from Belgium and Holland showing their trucks. It would be great to have some fresh blood in the show!

I put this one into my calender. That might be a reason to make a trip from the Baltic down to Mainhattan...

Well, there´s also some kind of contest you can sign in for. Visitors may vote the best model.

oh, that is really not common here. such "show" is always a contest + some display/exhibition (but most of models are in contest...)... really uncommon...

Frankfurt show will be definitely held on 1st and 2nd of November 2008!
(unfortunately, the webside hasn't not yet been actualized)
