Thumbs down Help Figuring Out Something

I'm 18 years old, and I want a different vehicle. I understand that my current car gets me from point A to point B, but i'm really wanting to get a different car. I keep having to pay repairs on this car constinently and ranking up in price and i'd rather be paying repairs on another car that i'd actually like.

Well I'm just trying to get at is that I'm 18, and i have a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim 2.5L 4c 3gear, and it only has 77,000 miles on it. I have had to car for 2 years now and drive it basically to home to work and back and some side things on weekends when i'm not working.

I don't have much to spend on a car but I want something that is pretty cheap I guess but is decent looking, can have a multitude of changing for performance and have fun with. I just want something that is better, my car has paint chipping off and rusting and i don't normally beat the crap out of my car that much. I don't smoke, and i don't drive crazy, i drive a bit fast but not crazy, where some teenagers who drive "carelessly". I've havent gotten into an accident nor have i've gotten a ticket or in trouble for anything.

I'm just basically asking if anyone knows of a vehicle that sells pretty cheap, and able to have fun with, can be moded and used for performance reasons and maybe an addition would be decent gas milage.

regards,
Timinsk
