Question Mid engine morphing.

Hey, I was just wondering if anybody ever transformed their Civic into a mid engine. I think it is not quite as dificult as it sounds, also would it be sacriligious?

RWD CRX

I saw a red RWD CRX at Spring Break Nationals this year. It had an NSX motor with turbo and nitrous. I believe the stickers said something like Mondavi Motorsports. It looked Wicked!!!

You're talking major dinero to make a car RWD. Unless you have deep pockets, I'd recommend buying a car that's already RWD .

I've seen that article way back. Still the question remains.........WHY???
If you wanted a rear wheel drive car then get a car that would be worth it. Why waste money on a Honda?

WHY? to copy yet more european companies - after all Renault did it with the Le-Car, why not somebody do it to a civic?
Obviously for better weight distribution...

Boy, you sure are negative. Back in auto shop in High school we did it to a VW. Didn't cost us a penny. All you need is imagination and skill, not just the ability to get your momma's credit card and order bolt on crap from www.ricercrap.com.

Whats the point of leaving the sotck 4-banger in the front with that huge V8 in the rear? Thats car is cool besides that.

I have also seen a CRX with the NSX engine in the back

If you just want the RWD go with a S2k engine/trans/rear-end swap. I saw a prelude like that.
