Need New transmission

I have a 91 P/U w/ 22RE and 5 speed. 136K mi. recently, when i was teaching my daughter to drive, it began to shift hard. i bled the clutch slave cyl, and checked the actuation. it actuates OK, but it shifts hard into 1st, I cannot get 3rd gear at all. i think some part of the shifting mechanism in the tranny broke. has anyone else had anything like this happen?

BTW- the clutch is 6 months old, and i do not drive the car everyday. Sometimes only once a month.

Also, where would recommend i find a transmission?

Thanks,

John

Re: Need New transmission

Since the clutch is only 6 mos old, and you haven'y driven it much, maybe you're just noticing a bad clutch install?

You should be able to find a used tranny in the 4Sale section of a BBS such as this one, and post in the Wanted section. Also check local offroad clubs websites and Craigs list in your area.
