99 venture sick

I had the intake manifold gasket replaced about 30,000 miles ago, recently had gas tank replaced also. Yesterday the wife started the vehicle , she noticed it running rough and the service engine light was on. She made it home, she said the low coolant light came on briefly, this morning I started it up light was still on still running bad , it has coolant. was going to take to autozone to have code checked, wife noticed white smoke as she was leaving the driveway, she stopped the van and killed it , then it wouldnt start up again, acted as if battery cable was loose.I got it to start ,drove it back down the driveway, it was running really bad with white smoke coming out of exhaust. Checked gas cap, air filter ,can't find anything obvious, any help would be appreciated.

Re: 99 venture sick

my 99 Venture had similar symptoms without the white smoke. Turned out it was one of the ignition coils.

Very possible it is the blown head gasket. DO NOT DRIVE IT UNTIL IT IS PROPERLY DIAGNOSED. Start it up, and with your hand 3-4 inches away from the tailpipe, are you getting steamy smoke out the back to the point where it burns your hand? If so, its the head gasket needing replacement including machining the heads.

I'd check the coils and or plugs. Easy to check. Did you already do as suggested above about the head gasket check?
