Re: winsheild wipers

Verify the grounds are good at the wiper motor. Sounds like an issue with the park circuit. Do they always stop in the same position, or just wherever they're at when you turn them off?

If always in the same location, then it could be that the wiper arms have slipped on the wiper gearbox shaft (due to being turned on when frozen, etc.). The clicking you are hearing could be from them trying to go too far on the windshield and tapping the side trip around the windshield.

thank you for responding. Everything mechanical is in good working order. they always stop in the up position when you turn them off. all of the functions work properly at each of the intermitent settings(stays in the down position between swipes) low and high settings work well too, But when you turn the switch there is a clicking noise from under the dash?
