1972 VW beetle
I just bought a 1972 beetle.
 The VIN is 1122706196. It has the original VW Germay emblem. How can I find out if it's a regular or super beetle?  Is it a 1972 beetle? What do the digits in the 10 digit vin number stand for?  I am a lost woman in the men's business. Please help.  I paid $1,000 was that ok? Thanks to you all who talk the time to answer me.
