2003 L200 with water on the carpet
Hi, My son just left my home on his way to Texas, he called about 4hrs later and told me that there is water coming in on the passenger side footwell. The water is clear (no antifreez) I do not think that it is the heater core. This car has 49K miles and has been sitting for 2 years. I think that maybe the drain for the A/C is plugged and backing up into the car? Has anyone out there had this problem and if so could you tell me where to look for the drain on this car. Its difficult to diagnose when the car is not here but i thought i would give it a try. Thanks Bob

Re: 2003 L200 with water on the carpet
Look under the hood where the air lines hook up by the cowl. At the bottom of the plastic shroud, there is a small hose coming out and it is plugged. Blow some air throught it and once water starts coming out, you cleared it. I have had this happen once a year. Must be there is gunk at the bottom and I blow it out just enough to clear to drain.
Good luck |

When you say air lines that hook up to the cowl what exactly do you mean? My sister-in-law's car is doing this now.
Thanks |
