PCM1 fuse

i have an 05 Silverado Z71. The other day i was driving and my engine completely shutoff. i took it in to a repair shop and they said the PCM1 fuse was blown they replaced it and the truck restarted. after about 10 minutes of driving it it died again the fuse has blown again. The dealer has it now and they are telling me they cant duplicate the problem. Anyone out there had a similar problem or know what would cause that fuse to blow?

thanks

Re: PCM1 fuse

Does the dealer have factory trained techs?
or is the grease monkey working on it?

First step would be a good wiring diagram of all circuits the fuse feeds.
Check all of them for high amp draw and wiggle and tap and pull on wiring and stuff that circuit feeds.
Give it a good long test drive over all road and your driving conditions
Any electrical stuff added to it or recent repair work on anything?

If all else fails I would wire a size smaller inline fuse to all circuits that fuse feeds and see which one blows.
Good luck
