Hard Shift In Tranny

i replaced it in my 91 3.0 with a used with 36XXX

1-2 has a hard shift with a whine when i increase/decrease rpms


any clues?

could be water in ATF. try getting a flush and putting a friction modifier additive in there.

I did ive when i got it i replaced everything all the seals and cleaned everything out then added some lucas into the pan and fill her up the rest

could it be the TC or the fly?

its probably something internal. i'd take it to a tranny spec. shop. they might be able to fix it without taking it out
