1993 eclipse 1.8 L no spark
I am not familiar with the ignition system for this car whatsoever, so please help. The engine turns over, I dont visually see gas coming from the spark plug holes, but I can smell gas and feel the pressure and I am getting compression when we turn it over. I hooked up a spark detector and see no visual spark whatsoever. I cannot find any sort of coil or anything else. the cap and wires seem fine, like I said im not familiar with these engines and i really really do not want to change the distributor. Someone please help, what next?

Re: 1993 eclipse 1.8 L no spark
the coil is inside of distributor. The book also tells you how to check the distibutor to make sure its good or not.
