Where is the low pressure switch located on a 99 chevy malibu? I can't find it and It's not around the fire wall..Thanks, Faris

Follow the smaller ac line from the condenser back, maybe in that area.

Sorry- there is NO low pressure "switch" on a variable stroke compressor system such as your Malibu. They use a 3-wire pressure transducer to monitor continuously the system pressure and feed it back to the PCM. So you probably want to charge the system and think you need to "jump" the LP switch? Truth is, you don't need to-- the system needs 47 psi to activate the compressor-- so once you introduce refrigerant into it- the system pressure will reach 47 psi after about 4 ounces and bam- the compressor will engage.. NEVER try to "jump" 3-wire "switches" they aren't switches and can harm PCMs .. just a heads up...

OK..Thanks for the info... A fellow by the name of ( Tony Nguyen ) explained how it works and i am proud to say i got it going with his help..it's blowing cold and here in Arkansas with the high humidity it was much needed *LOL* Thanks to all you for the replies, it was appreciated.
