tps
i have a 1993 chevy pickup 350 4l60e i've been working on it keeps comming up with a code 43 which is throttle position sensor out of adjustment..but looking on the internet...a few sites list a knock sensor too...i replaced the throttle position sensor yesterday and it still misfires..43 is the only code it pulls...the truck itself sometimes it goes good and strong and sometimes it backfires and sputters at idle and all through the driving range....already done full tune up and fuel filter and a distributor because it had play in it..thanks for any help....

Re: tps
Hmm...relative to a distributor swap...did you dial in the base timing with the wire disconnected (can't say where yours is, the manual will know...but the one that disables any advance or ECM spark modification so you can dial in the distributor with a timing light)...and is the wire/connector plugged back in!
I would also check fuel pressure (ala a fuel pump) with a test gage. I would also think about changing the knock sensor.
