'99 3.8l P1516
Any ideas about a P1516 code on a '99 3.8L Windstar? Seems to be running OK. The IMRC control arms appear to be intact, no missing plastic bushings (had that before....). I can clear the codes, but it eventually comes back. I have also seen P1518 posted along with the P1516, but P1516 is usually posted by itself.

The Intake Manifold Runner Control module was bad. Funny thing... ran good and no CEL when the module was unplugged. Didn't check gas mileage.... might have affected that while module was broken/unplugged.... ??? No after-market parts found, had to get one from Ford.

Don't forget..... rather than paying Ford lots of money, get the IMRC plastic bushings at O'Reilly Auto Parts, O'Reilly item number 47099. Got 5 for $5, rather than at least $5/each at Ford.... ridiculous!
