|
97 olds 88 blower motor runs with ignition off.
I was searching and found that some older models have a blower motor module, does the 97 have the same, or does it have a relay. and is it located near the blower on the firewall. This has only happen 2 times this year but since the weather is getting hotter now i'm affraid it may fail all together. Tks for the HELP!!!
Also, when are the cooling fans supposed to kick on. car runns at 200, and he fans don't turn on, am i not noticing them?

Fans will only come on with the ac or at 225 degrees. The relay is either in the relay panel, or mounted on the blower case under the r/s of the dash.

If you have the Electronic Climate Control, and the blower has been stuck on high a couple of times with the ignition off, you are impending failure... You will need to replace the Blower Control Module, This will be located under the Maxi Fuse Relay Center

tks for the help, it finally failed yesterday. It acted up at first, running when i turned the car off, then when i started the car the blower would not turn on. replaced the relay(with the old one the first time
 ) with the NEW one, and wala we have aaaiiirrrr!!!!!
