fans will NOT COME ON

2001 pontiac montana 3.4 160k hi can any one help me out of this one .I have changed temp sensor and all three relays and the fans will not come on im slightly getting over half way on temp gage when stoped at idle them cools off when on the move .noty loosing any fluids at all and all is dry. But the darn fans will not come on either one it seems to have just started this i have been on three 500k trips no probs then the family we all get in it to go to the niagra falls and this started think i could find the dex cool at any gas or sevice station in the whole area no so i just added some water i no its not good to mix the with a rad flush in mind as soon as we return home. can any one tell me the cause the fans are both turning by hand could it be one is shot then they both dont work hmm i am all out of answers and patients guys please help

The fans on my 1998 do not turn on until past the halfway mark. About 1 oclock. Don't know if the guage is different. Try turning on your AC. This should cause fans to run all the time.
