Electric Problems
I have a 97 S10 blazer and for some reason it is blowing the large diodes in the fuse box for the power windows. It is also drawing power fromt he battery everytime I turn the vehicle off drawing the battery dead. Both windows work while the fuse is in but as they are not cheap I have to ake it out so it doesnt blow. I imagine I have a short somewhere but dont have a clue where to start.

Re: Electric Problems
If running battery down key off.
You need to run a amp draw test on battery. Power Window motors are on a circuit breaker. What fuse is it blowing? Look for a short on that circuit. What else quits when the fuse blows? 2 door or 4 door and does it have a keyless entry system.
