Tranny shifting problems
I have a 99 Passat 1.8 turbo. The starter went bad the other day. Changed the starter, car now starts. The wierd thing is all the gear selections are showing on the dash PNDR432 at the same time. The other thing is it shifts into 1st gear hrd when slowing down. I put it in drive and it shifts thru the gears. Shift down into other gears and it stays in high. The manual shift mode is no longer working.Seems like something electronic to me.Anyone have a clue as to what this is?
Thanks for any help Mike |

Re: Tranny shifting problems
You need the transmission codes read to know whats up. Sounds like the selector lever switch may be faulty
