Brake Rotors- Cross-drilled

I want to install cross-drilled rotors in my bmw 323 Ci 2000 coupe and I have some general questions about them. First, if I installed cross-drilled rotors, do I have to get specific brake pads and calipers to go with them or can I just use the standard stock bads and calipers I have now? Do I also need to get cross-drilled rotors for my rear axle? I am interested in the Zimmerman brand cross-drilled rotors. I heard they are OE from Germany, which is very good. Do the Zimmerman rotors rust? I noticed that I got some cheap rear rotors the last time I replaced them, and they rusted around the area where it connects to the tire. I personally do not like how they rust, because it has that nasty dark brown color to it, unlike my front stock rotors that don't rust at all and stay silver. I was wondering if the Zimmerman is also rust-proof? thanx in advance for anyone that replies. ^_^
