2003 Envoy door locks

The tailgate will not lock or unlock with the switch on the drivers door and the remote doesn't funtion at all. I have checked the fuses and circuit breakers they are fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to AF, either the lock solenoid is bad or the wiring to it, the inside panel must come off the tailgate to check this out.
