Rhythmic thump in Front end

Hi all. I've been here before and appreciate all the help in the past. I have a new issue. I know its a familiar issue possibly. I did research thru the forum here but what I have found doesn't seem to apply.
I have a 2000 GP 3.1 with 119K. Some history of this issue. I recently learned that it had a broken anti-sway bar in the front on the drivers side. I guess this is fairly common. I knew that I had a bad right outer tie rod end and in the process discovered that the right in CV joint boot was leaking grease real bad. This all due to a rhythmic thump coming from the front end. I replaced the tie-rod end and the right half-shaft. I had the car in the shop for a front end alignment and that's when I learned that the sway bar was broken. I have a new sway bar on order and plan to replace it on Wednesday. The shop tried to tell me the hubs were bad by doing the 12 & 6, and 9 & 3 routine. I could not detect any discernible play in the hubs, but did see play on the left outer tie-rod end. I will probably replace that next month. I put the car up on jacks and put the car in gear to see if I could hear the thumping, Everything sounded normal and smooth.
Now my question. Could the rhythmic thump be a bad hub bearing? The sound becomes noticeable at about 15mph and grows from there as far as tempo. The loudness does not increase, just the thumping with speed. I checked the tires and couldn't detect any indication of a broken belt. The left half-shaft looks fine and there doesn't appear to be any leaks. The sound does not disappear when turning either direction nor does it increase. I'm torn between whether it is a broken tire belt or the hub. Usually, I've been able to detect a broken belt. Any ideas?

When my hubs went bad I heard a loud whine that went away when turning back and forth. Swap your tires from the front to the rear and see if that helps or changes the noise.

Thanks for the reply. I had the tires rotated last week and I don't recall if the sound moved with them. I will try and move the front to the back and see if it moves the sound as well. Obviously I would prefer a tire issue to having to replace a hub.

other things to try are jack up the front end and push up on your steering rack, if it pushes up and down see if u can tighten up the mounting bolts. my car just had that problem. tightened up those 2 bolts and my thumping is gone. have you checked your control arm bushings?
