difference between 4x4 4.3 and 2wd 4.3
what is the difference between the 4.3l in a 4x4 s10 and the 4.3l in a 2wd s10 i know the 2wd has less horsepower and i don;t know why. if the engines are the same . so could someone explain to me what makes the 4x4 4.3l have more power then the 2wd 4.3l also what makes the engine in the 4wd have only have 190 but 250 torque what makes the engine put out so much more torque the horsepower thanks.

The VCM and gear ratio has a lot to do with HP.
What years and where are you getting your HP figures?
