JVC stereo help

I need help please. I have installed a JVC car stereo in my car. The problem I have is that the songs on the cd starts from beginning everytime car is switched off and started again it doesn't continue where it stopped. The radio channels that was stored in memory has also dissappeared and I have to store them again.

Please help !

Thank you

Re: JVC stereo help

the problem is, there are 2 different power wres. One is commonly red and connected to 12V that is switched - that means it is turned off when the car is turned off. This is where you have both of your power wires connected. The other wire is typically yellow, it's the "memory" wire and needs to be connected somewhere that has 12V whether the key is on or off.
