this thread. You should also try using the "Search this forum" feature from the Taurus forum main page. That will answer your question without cluttering up the forum with a "Has anyone experienced this" post.
The OBD-II code format is pretty much standard between model years, so a P1501 code for a 1996 Taurus will be pretty much the same as for a 1998 or a 2000. The P1xxx designates a manufacturer-specific code though, so you won't want to search on a Chevy forum for a P1507.
