VW Convertible Gas MPG
I`m thinking of buying a 2005 VW Beetle Convertible but when looking up mpg, I was surprised to find that it was much less than I thought it would be. 20mpg city & 28mpg hwy. I was wondering if those of you who have the same model find your gas mileage to be any different?

well i have a 2000 1.8 and i thought it was only the turbos that had bad gas mileage, but if im not mistaken, that one has a 2.0 in it so i can see why, but i thought all the newer models had great gas mileage... for some reason, ppl think that because it is a bug i get the best mileage in the world, ha i dont think so, mine is about 19-22
