KYB GR-2 struts kick ass
regardless of what people say, GR-2's are kick ass struts. I have adjustable coilovers lowered all the way down and my car rides like i want it to. Not too bouncy, not too stiff, just right.
Just letting you all know because i know the "gr-2s suck and AGX is the only way to go" mentality is floating around. |

What coilovers did you use?

some generics. www.truckn-store.com 89.00 dollar specials. with my stock struts, the car rode like total shit. bounced all over the place. then i put these gr-2s in and it rides great. stiff and sporty feeling without being super bumpy, even with the generic coilovers.
my boy has the same suspension setup (generic coilovers with gr-2s) on his del sol VTEC and its been slammed to the ground for about a year and the struts still holding up strong. |
