Re: Need Help BAD Clutch

Your problem is the clutch can't engage (grab the gear) or disengage (press the clutch and allow it to free spin?)

The fluid reservoir being dry pretty much means you have a hydraulic leak from either the clutch master cylinder or slave cynlinder. Your clutch statement is confusing but I would look into fixing the master/slave cylinders first

Re: Need Help BAD Clutch

Do you mean brake fluid resevoir or clutch fluid resevoir?

If that wasn't a typo, the brake fluid isn't connected to the clutch. If it is a typo and you meant clutch fluid, then yes, if that's dry you won't be able to use your clutch. Slave or master cylinder usually.

Re: Need Help BAD Clutch

I'm going to say thats a typo.

Look under the dash where the clutch pedal rod goes thru the firewall. If there is fluid dripping from there then the clutch master cylinder needs replaced.

If it is dry there look under the hood on the transmission next to the bellhousing. You will see the slave cylinder there. If it is wet below that the then slave is in need of replacement.
