Stupid turn signal question
I had a question about the multifunction switch. I was driving my wife's 03 Taurus to see fireworks last night. I spend a lot of time in Northern Kentucky where there is no such thing as a straight road. I noticed as I was coming up to an intersection and trying to put the turn signal on it wouldn't let me. I was coming around a curve as I was approaching the intersection. I started testing it out and realized that if the steering wheel was turned AT ALL in either direction I could not put the turn signal on. I was wondering if this was normal. It is not a big problem just more annoying than anything!

Re: Stupid turn signal question
When you were trying to engage the signals, you were probably at the cancelling point in the steering column. Should be considered almost normal. You can sit still and try to engage the signals and see where they lock on and where they cancel.

Re: Stupid turn signal question
Thank you. Like I said it was just more annoying than anything. It just seems that the cancel point comes far quicker than most vehicles.
