Project Civic Clean-up Day 1

Okay so I've got four days off in a row (kinda crappy... but now I can work on the EX.

by day four I hope to have the CRX dash completely swapped in (gotta go get some tools to finish the job though) and most of the body work taken care of... or to the point of just some minor smoothing. I already have the piece of metal I'm using to shave the rear filler piece in place, just need to get the bucket-o-bondo out to finish that part, then it's off to the under-side of the car to get the new side rocker panels in place. woo hoo I'm gettin excited, after these days off I just need the engine parts and the D15 out of the CRX.

Here's some pix I took earlier while I was doing the test fit of the 88/89 tail light and the new shaved filler panel.

yes... I'm anxiously awaiting my garage... I hope to move the civic where the CRX sits (better area to work on it) tomorrow, I would do it today but I'm not wanting to move it until I get it ready... I'm also liking the elevated part so I can get under the front a little better. to pull the stuff I'm not planning on hooking back up (power steering lines and rez, cruise control box, A/C lines and condenser)

I want to thank Kris for posting that 300+mb shop manual a while back, that's helped me a ton, especially since I built a shop computer with it on the HDD.

hard work an persistance pays off... The dash is in, it's got some gaps in it around the windshield but hey... everywhere else fits just fine so that can be over-looked
