I would go with the built b18a. This way youhave an engine that is ready for whatever you throw at it and it is already a great engine to begin with. I know this wasn't a choice, but would you want to use that money to build up your zc?

you know me...i'm all about the d, lol. however, jer has been thinking LS Vtec. it's more in the $2500 range with more hp. i don't think you're really all about speed as much as reliability. i say drop a b16 and call it a day

edit: btw, something is up with your poll. i voted and it still say zero....

For 2 grand I would drop the b16 and just have a nice reliable daily driver. A built b18a might get out of your price range quickly since there are so many options.

Yeah, something's up with the poll.

I like the b16's cause they have a good amount of power for the weight and I like my handling.

Oh, and I'm interested in getting a ZC, so if your's is repairable and you want to sell, let me know.

i would say go wiht the b16 but the gsr i think you would be happier wiht becuase it has a greater potiental then the b16 and its eaiser to go all motor wiht it if that is the way you want to go so my vote goes to the b18c

Damn man! A new trany is like $150-300! WTF are you thinking?! You can make that ZC hang with a B18C1 for $2000 and be original! Not be like "Look, another B series"

How is it obviouse? If he's gonna swap at all (As oposed to making the ZC badass) Why the hell use an engine that puts out 20 less hp and 18 less ft lbs of tq? It only weaghs like 15 lbs more dude...
