Transmission problem

I have an 02 spyder gt v6. Went out this morning and started the car and shifted to reverse. It felt like it went into gear but when I gave it gas it just revved like it was in neutral. Same in drive. While revving in reverse, it kicked into gear and drove fine for about 15 minutes. Went home and parked it for a little bit. When I left for work, it shifted into reverse but with a clicking sound. Started driving it forward and it was still clicking like the gears weren't totaly engaged. Took it back home. It was kind of bucking while driving it into the driveway. Fluid ok. Is there any kind of sensor or vaccum line that runs to the transmission that would cause this. Any help on this matter would be very helpful. Thanks. Joe

Re: Transmission problem

I also have a tranny problem... I have a '01 GT spyder and this morning I was driving to work, all of a sudden the engine revved and no power was being transferred. I wasn't even on the throttle, I was at about 2k rpm going down the road. I have never had any tranny problems before, its got 118k miles. It has a sportrontic trans. It goes into park, but won't go into reverse, drive, or any of the "manual" gears. When I put the car in a gear, it slightly revs up like its going to move but nothing... Really hoping the tranny didn't just take a crap on me, wouldnt want to dish out the cash
