Abrupt take off.
When accelerating fr a stop my 97 2.4 auto seems to have a big jump in the ignition curve. There is no smoothness, it takes off like you grabbed a bit too much pedal then smooths out. What can be done to correct this? If you ask me it seems to be in the F.i. mapping. Fun when you're dragging alone, embarassing when your girl is getting whiplash at every stop sign.

TPS sensor would be a start.
