97 2wd Suburban Starting no spark

I have a 97 2wd 5.7 vortec suburban that is getting no spark at the plug end of the wires. Any ideas what might be the problem?

Re: 97 2wd Suburban Starting no spark

Pull the distributor cap and check the rotor ohm from the top to the tip. Then use an ohm meter and and ohm between the hole for the coil and the button on the inside of the cap.
From your post you are getting spark from the coil wire. If this is not correct reply.
