1969 Camaro 302 Z28 - Progress

Here are some pics of it, giving it the "pro-stock" treatment!

Scratch built Hilborn injectors

Side view, with lifted rear end

Rear 3/4 view:

Check out that stance,

And finally, hidden away from competitors!

Looking very nice, I would put some hilborns on my 69 Camaro model(When I get one). But I got a special hood for it What are the plans for colours? You should use the side pipes from your 69 Firebird kit. Also the racing seat and rollcage, would look very nice with all that. Even try the supercharger or minislicks?

love that hilborn fuel injection, my current project has that on it. mine stick out of the hood though. i love that look of the stacks sticking out.

Looks like this will be a wicked model when compleated.

I'll make sure to keep you guys updated on this one, as there are no major body modifications!
Lowryda, I scratch build some side pipes for this car using 1/8" tubes, I'll get some pictures.
aznysj, the Celica belongs to my brother, I'll get more pics if he permits.

And here are the pics, I forgot to get the bottom view, but they were scratch built!

They still need a little more work. And I still haven't decided on the exact location for it.

*edit* I plan on using the stock seats to keep everything consistent on the interior, but might remove the back seat, and it'll definatly have the roll-cage piece from the firebird, as well as the traction bars.

Color!

The body is ready for a nice paintjob! Well, I didn't primer it yet. I'm thinking something basic, red or blue? Any suggestions?

A smooth, deep gloss red would do it wonders.

Actually, if you look at the instructions, it says to put it through the inside, but I though it looked funny/wrong, so I tried placing it through the outside.

Anyways, Red it is, with black interior!

Sounds nice, red with black will look great. No stripes? I think that would suit the prostock look you are attempting to give it.
