99 Honda Civic EX windows rolling up/down problems
GA_googleFillSlot("Forums_ROS_300x250_noad");var tcdacmd="sa=a;sz=3;ad";
The windows all roll up slow. There is 85,000 on this car. I thought maybe the windows were dragging on the rubber track they slide up and down in. Maybe the rubber is dry. I didnt think all 4 motors for the four windows could be going bad but maybe someone on here knows why.I am going to put some WD 40 in the rubber tracks and see if ithelps.Any ideas? |

I would not use WD40.
Do other electrical components run slow, maybe a sunroof, etc? |

its not uncommon for the tracks to dry out.remove the door panel & use a spray white lithium or simular in the tracks

Re: 99 Honda Civic EX windows rolling up/down problems
this car does not have a sunroof. I have two answers here regarding not using WD-40 and one saying use a spray on white lithium grease. Is everyone okay with the white lithium spray?
