Unhappy 03 saturn ion trans problem

changed oil on 03 saturn ion and now car will not engage in rear or drive. do you think we emptied trans fluid or is there only oil plug under vehicle?

What color was the fluid when it came out? I know tranny fluid gets dark but I think you would have noticed if it was the wrong fluid.

I'm assuming the vehicle is auto??? the oil drain plug is a 15mm ... and is located on the oil pan which is to the right under the vehicle if you were sitting in the drivers seat. If you drained the tranny fluid by mistake, the transmission couldn't build pressure to engage into any gears.
