Re: information on classic chevys

Your local library is the first stop. There are about a bazillion books on old Chevys. We could be more specific if you could be. That is, what is your area of interest? Restoration? High performance? Racing?

Re: information on classic chevys

Refer to my asnwer in the "muscle car" section. You have to understand them from a fundemental point of view before you begin modifying them. You also need to know what is "truth" and what is "myth and superstition".

So, until you can recite the functions and nomenclature of the "Otto Cycle" engine, find "square-1". Knowing how many '68 SS427 Chevelles Chevy sold would be a "plus"... (:- (HINT: This IS a "trick question")

All that being said, PM me and I can point you to many good places for information. But I warn you, the library will STILL be the best one!
