Headlight Help

Our 1996 Altima needs a new headlight housing. We cannot locate the exact modle type of our car. Typically you look in the trunk. The trunk on this model was replaced and that little piece of paper that tells you wether it is an XE GXE SE or GLE model is gone. How can we figure out what it is????

The VIN number will have all that information. It is in a format that will require some research to decipher.

Take It To A Mechanic And Have Him Tell You The Model

I could be wrong, but the headlight housing should be identical regardless of the model trimline. At least, that's how it is for 2000/2001 models.
